David has finished the surfboard. Pipino (cutest little Italian man that works at the pizza shop upstairs of Del Sol. He is shaped like an m&m, drives a scooter, and says, "ciao bella," more than any other phrase) gave him this surfboard last Christmas and it had been sitting in our apartment all year until David decided to fix it up.

Look at those straight lines! He got the design off another Rusty surboard picture off google images. He hand painted the Rusty R where it used to be, but is not pictured in the photo above. Today he took it out for the first time. Unfortunately, there weren't any good waves this evening.
I have been trying to add a little variety to our dinners lately and this was the product this past weekend:

Delicious sushi. The only change I'll make is adding more color to the rolls, but other than that everything tasted like the real thing and I was so happy.

I was reading your post and thinking I swear I just checked her blog how could I have missed so much...then I realized it was all one post. I'm and idiot. Anyway, I can't believe you made sushi. I so want to do that with you sometime. Austin loves the board. He was amazed at what a good job david did. He is very talented.
