There are certain times when I wish so badly that I had a house of my own, furniture, and decorations of my own. Christmas time is one of those times. But, we've actually done pretty well for the materials that we do have (we don't want to buy a bunch of decorations since this is our last Christmas here).
I've loved lighting our little Charlie Brown Christmas tree every night as well as the big lights in the window. The huge lights remind me of the house I grew up in Seattle.

For singing time in Primary this past Sunday we learned the song Picture a Christmas. I had the kids draw a picture of what they were picturing in their minds as I read the words to them. Some of the pictures of the stable, baby Jesus, and the angels were so sweet. I had to hang one up on our fridge. You can also see our photobooth Christmas picture. I was happy with how they turned out and boy was it a good idea to send them from Miami. Asialene got her card already and it has not yet been a week!

My little snowman teapot came from Marla for the Del Sol Christmas gift exchange last year. David was kind of bitter because Marla really had his name, but ended up getting me perfume and this teapot instead. :) We've used it for eggnog, hot cocoa, and brought it baby-sitting with us a couple weeks ago. The Ashby girls absolutely loved using it.

We've watched so many Christmas movies lately. Right now Home Alone 2 is on in the background and I can honestly quote the entire movie. Next on the list: While You Were Sleeping, A Christmas Carol, and The Holiday. I'm a movie person, and Christmas movies are my favorites.

That teapot set is so adorable!!! I love that you brought it over to the Ashby's house. I love your tree and window lights!
