Thank you to my cousin-in-laws (cousins-in-law... whatever the proper pluralization is) I had a wonderful shower on Thursday. Lobster bisque soup and Nuts about Berries from Zupas? Favorite meal. Airplane decorations? Very appropriate. Seeing and visiting with friends and family? Perfect way to spend my evening.
And another thank you to my mother-in-law for raising a thoughtful son. Right after I wrote the below post and the little part about how great David is, he came home from school with tulips (my favorite) and a Thank You card thanking me for carrying the baby. He knows that I like attention and that I like being thanked. A huge flaw of mine is that I get upset if I do something nice for someone or put a lot of effort into something and I don't get thanked. Good thing my husband knows about these flaws (and accepts them :).

fancy cookie picture! i like it! and your shower was so nice. they did a great job. i'm still dreaming about the soup. and what a sweet thing for david to do. you two are cute.
did you take that picture? it looks so professional. i am still sad that i couldn't see all your cute shower gifts. tulips are so cute. what a thoughtful husband.
Abby and Brittany- why are you so surprised that I took the cookie picture? Just because I get confused with what aperture, iso, and shutter speed mean doesn't mean I don't know how to use the camera. :) Actually... sometimes I just take a picture and hope it turns out. Sometimes they do and most the time they don't!
I hope that you have lots more babies...meaning more showers, more zupas, and more cute decorations! It was a blast! I think you should plan a post-baby shower so I can see you again...haha!
those cookies look so yummy. all i ever want to eat is COOKIES!

Shalynna I miss you!!!!! Gosh I need to e-mail you or talk to you on the phone. I have been thinking about you so much lately. I am glad that things are going well. I am sad we are not coming home for Christmas so I wont get to see your cute little guy. Bro. Thorstersen ( I know I killed the spelling) was at church today and told us he saw you two the other day on campus. Anyway I miss you guys and I am glad things are going good. I hope you had a good Thanksgiving.
