What We'll Miss about Cayman: Part 3

Fried fish.

Fried snapper with the Cayman style onions and peppers on time is one of my favorite dishes of all time. David and I both love it.

Alecia Cameron had us over for a full Jamaican feast. She made fried fish, calaloo and okra, sweet potatoes, festivals (fried dough- basically a doughnut without frosting... delicious), and Jamaican rum punch without the rum. It was one of the best meals I have had here. Reggae music played in the background while we visited with Alecia, John, and their kids Joanna and James.
We ended up staying over for a couple of hours and listened to all of Alecia's great stories from her childhood in Jamaica. It was a lovely evening and oh how we will miss the fried fish that the Caribbean has to offer.

Sha where are you moving to?

Also if you have the chance to see Wicked go see it. My dad wasnt really wanting to go and he loved it. Also it is pretty dang funny. Honestly he won't regret it at all. I've been to a lot of plays and I saw more guys at Wicked with their wives than I saw at Phantom and even Lion King.
