The beach. I'm a beach person. I love reading a good book, hearing the waves, watching David surf (If I knew how to surf I would probably love it too), wearing a floppy hat and even falling asleep at times.
I'll miss the majority of our driving being along the coast. I'll miss the idea of living on an island. We'll miss the culture.
The clotheslines. The three member family riding on one beach cruiser. The guy who installed huge speakers on his bicycle and plays music for everyone to hear. The beautiful black people walking to Church on Sunday mornings in Sunday hats, gloves, and old fashioned Sunday attire. The traditional Caymanian houses. The gorgeous, colorful flowers along the South Sound drive. The little fishing boats and fisherman that sell fresh fish on the dock. The mango stands in the back of a van on the side of the road. The hitchhikers. The simple way of living. We'll miss it all.
