Lately

Lately I have been: thinking about burger shots from Burger King nonstop, worried that David will somehow contract swine flu from a tourist (luckily the cruise ships have changed their route from stopping in Mexico), dying to set in stone a possible trip to Europe, taking advantage of Kristy's huge kitchen and cooking almost everyday, looking forward to babysitting two adorable babies in exchange for a haircut at Spa Spree, getting bored with American Idol and thinking that the producers put Adam in the bottom three to up the ratings, putting my hair in french braids at night to get the "wavy" look the following day, in denial about leaving the island in 2.5 months, saving $100 from weekly paycheck and all of piano money for trip to Europe, feeling so blessed.

Lately David has been: enjoying his new lens from ecaytrade.com (anniversary gift), using a new technique of taking photos (something about taking three photos, one dark, one bright, and one medium and combining into one photo. Confusing, but the results are amazing. See above photo. Yes, that is where we live!), trying not to get swine flu while being in large crowds of tourists, playing tons of tennis (what's new) and not surfing at all (no waves), cleaning the cats' litter and throwup, watching NBA playoffs, practically being best friends with his boss (the boss has been in a great mood lately), making employees laugh with cheesy jokes such as snorting as a sign of having swine flu, trying to sell Macbook on ecaytrade.com, enjoying my cooking, has not yet met our visitors but he will soon, in charge of picking hotels in Europe so we can finalize trip, and saying he loves me and that I'm pretty daily (I'm bragging again).

This is a good list! I laughed when my mom warned us about getting swine flu here, but if you all are worried, maybe we should be!

I hope your Europe trip happens!

I also hope David can teach Kyle about the three-in-one picture technique.

:) Good luck with not getting the flu...it's in Utah now. I told my students they must keep a 6 foot distance from me!

Europe would be a dream! Can't wait for you to go.

I'm so sad you have to leave so soon. At least you have lived it to the fullest. I'm sad I never got to visit.

Thanks for being interested in me and my pregnancy. You make me feel so loved!

Love ya!

I love HDR images! (That is what combining 3 different exposures of the exact same image is called). Check out this guy Matt Nicolosi, who is amazing, he did a post on it here:

Your posts are always so honest and warm. :) I think you're totally right about why Adam was in the bottom 3! hehe.

I accidentally deleted the post that you commented on, so come back and visit my blog, again.

I'll be back by yours, soon! :)

So, how is it going 'lately' with the Europe trip? I am so excited to hear more. If we end up on an international internship next year, you gotta come visit if you can!
