Why I Love Primary

Today we had a primary activity. It was a lot of fun. We had outdoor games and some treats. I ended up being there for four hours which was kind of a long time, but that is how it goes when people live on Cayman time. Half the group showed up an hour late!

I would like to claim that we have the most adorable kids in our primary. Isn't James the cutest?

There were four games with six teams. There was a great turnout and parents even participated in the games.

One of the best games was the doughnut relay. We placed doughnut holes on string and the teams had to eat the doughnuts without using their hands.

When we were threading the doughnuts I was anxiously waiting for someone to break theirs so I could eat it. I have a true weakness for doughnuts. I crave them all the time.

This is Alicia Cameron. When I first introduced myself to her in 2007 she said, "You really remind me of this girl that used to live here." We both came to realize that she was talking about my sister Asialene!

Another fun game consisted of putting on a poncho, pouring a glass of water, putting toothpicks in the pocket of the poncho, and all this while hitting the balloon the entire time.

It was a very fun activity. I sure do love my calling.

Your camera makes everything look so fun and beautiful. I love that you guys went sailing together. We just watched a show about a family that went sailing around the world for two years, and it reminded me of you guys. They ended up getting in an accident and almost died, so I hoped that maybe you guys didn't really want a boat anymore. Well I miss you tons and hope we get to see you soon.

this island is so perfect for you.

only you could really appreciate every little detail it has to offer.

i love that you waited for someone's donut to break so you could eat it. i can totally picture it!

You are so creative and fun! I'm not going to lie, I would not like being in primary. I was in nursery forever when we first got hitched and I think I got SARS and probably Bird Flu too. It is like a germfest in there!

I LOVE that your friend said that you reminded her of someone that used to live there. SO funny. Wasn't there some little girl that used to call you the "other Asialene"?

I love the donut picture too. What a fun activity. I am quite jealous though. The girls' Primary activity this upcoming Friday will only last an hour and 15 minutes (exactly). I was hoping I could drop them off and go out to dinner with Davis, but we won't have enough time. If I were living there we could do dinner and a movie!

You are a good photographer, have you thought of doing photography as a career? I'm being serious, I think it would be such a fun job and you're really good at it.
Your ward sounds super fun, no wonder you are sad to leave.

That was a fun primary activity. I felt bad for making Austin come at first because it took so much out of his study day, but then in the end I was so glad the we got to do that as a family. Your sailing date is so cute. I just love you and David, you are like the perfect little couple. I really can't, and don't want to imagine this island without you two here.

Your pictures are lovely!

I had to skip all the way back to your first post to figure out why you are living in such an exotic place, but I think I've got it sorted now. Thank you for swinging by my blog and leaving the sweet comment! Nice to "meet" you.
