Roasting by an Open Fire

We had a lot of fun on Monday evening with the Myer family. We drove up to a secluded little beach and had a campfire. I'm not sure if there are many things that I love more than a good tinfoil dinner.
Austin knows how to start a mean fire. The wood was a bit moist from
the ocean air, but he was able to get a good little fire started. We used conch shells to form the outsides of the fire. Is there a term I should use? Conch shells for the fir pit? I'm not sure. I was teased all night for not being much of an out doorsy girl, but I really am. I really love the outdoors and I really love tinfoil dinners.

Katy and Alli are two of the cutest girls in the world. they can entertain you for hours. I love them also because they like to play with my hair- sticky marshmallow fingers and all.

One more reason we love them is because they will pose for the camera.

We ended the night by watching Austin's very scary Disney movie called When Danger Comes, Danger Coming This Way, or something like that. David and I are such boring friends because we both fell asleep within the first ten minutes. Woopsies. When we did wake up we all had a few laughs as the guys shared some of their crazy stories which included a time when Austin pretended to be hung outside of a haunted farmhouse to scare some girls (and ended up getting "saved" by a cop that drove by) and a time when David and his friends made a dummy out of stuffed clothing, a football for a head, and a huge bucket of ketchup from Costco (an ambulance, fire truck, and police cars came to the scene). Boys are so mischievous sometimes. It's a good thing Heidy and I are so innocent so we can keep them in line.

Lol that was so much fun. I can't wait to do it again. I still just randomly think of David's dummy story and laugh. Hope you had a good Christmas. I can't wait to meet your family!!
