Kings

Such a pretty song that mentions such a pretty place.

Kings of Convenience:

I wonder why the redhead is so sad? I love all of the lamps in the video and I love the guitar part.

Want to know something that I find so funny? I felt awkward when the dark haired one sings and looks into the camera. It makes me uncomfortable even thought he's not really singing it to me! I'm so weird. I'm so weird, in fact, that when I was a sophomore and I had just gotten back group pictures of winter formal and put them up in my room,  I felt funny changing in front of the photo because there were boys in the picture!

While I'm sharing songs that I like, here is another one.

Kings of Leon:

The official video is better, but the Html is disabled on You Tube. Want to know something weird about me? Every time I see 'Edit Html' on the blog tab next to compose I always read it in my head as, "Edit Hotmail." I've even said it several times out loud without realizing it. David was helping me post a video one time and I kept saying, "Go back to edit Hotmail," and he'd say, "No Shalynna, it's edit h-t-m-l."

I wanted to end the post with a video of another favorite band: Mesa's very own Diamante, but I thought I should ask permission first. I guess wearing the band's brown t-shirt with cute little ducks on the shoulder will have to be my way of honoring the lovely ladies.

I'm bored tonight. David is playing tennis and I'm too lazy to do anything else except fold laundry. I have homework that needs to be done before my quilting class tomorrow. I've cut out all the pieces, but I still have to sew. I'm also going to make a delicious fruit salsa and cinnamon chips for our little class. Monday is the queen's birthday, which means there is no work! Hopefully we'll do something exciting enough to post.

David just got home and the first words out of his mouth were, "I have been gone for two hours and there are dishes in the sink, the laundry is half folded, there is melted chocolate all over the sheets ( I was eating Reeses) and you are in bed on the internet. I thought you were going to sew." He was joking about the dishes part.

I guess I better end this.

Things that I really like lately:

King's Hawaiian sweet bread (the rolls in the orange package). I've been buying them every single time I go to the grocery store.

Naked juice. It's like five dollars a bottle, but it tastes so so good.

Pictures of breakfast. Take a look for yourselves here.

Have a great weekend, bloggers!

You're so funny sha! I'm not gonna lie, that breakfast blog is a little weird. I don't understand it. I didn't look into it very far so I don't know if she gives an explanation...so is that all she does? Post pictures of the breakfasts she eats everyday?

haha. sha, we don't have to agree to disagree...when you put it that way, it is pretty cool. i mean when i first saw it i thought it was interesting. i especially liked the raw/rustic artistic flair it had. i was just like, okay is there an explanation anywhere, does she ever have anything to say...or is it just what it is. and that's cool. it is what it is.

You are sooo funny... the singer looking into the camera, changing in front of boys' pictures, and melted chocolate on your bed! I love the breakfast pictures - pictures of food are so much fun (and it makes me want to put peanut butter - or soy nut butter - on my toast).

Thanks for your prayers. Logan and I went home all last week to be there with his family. It was hard, but his family is so strong that they will be able to get through this. I love your posts and about David coming home and you were in bed playing on the internet. I love this whole blogging thing, but sometimes it's addicting.

Hey girl! I love all the lamps too in that video. I wish I owned all of them. When are you coming back to Mesa to visit? I seriously miss you.
