Five Things We Love about Emerald...
1) She has the most amazing memory. For anyone that knows me sister, you know that I am not exagerating when I say she can remember phone numbers, names, and birthdays better than anyone I've ever met. When she got back from her first day of preschool she knew everyone's first, middle, and last names in her class. She is really good at reminding us of birthdays that are coming up. In fact, she is Chelsea Goodman's little secretary in this department. Em will call Chelsea up to tell her that one of her nieces or nephews has a birthday in the next couple days, just so she won't forget. She also knows birthdays of the most random actors/actresses. She will all of a sudden say, "Oh, today is so and so's birthday from the Disney Channel." We also don't need a ward/stake directory because she knows everyone's phone numbers!
2) She is a great aunt. All of our nieces and nephews love Auntie Em.
3) She is so fun to watch movies with. We have a few of our favorite movies that we have watched over and over again ever since we were little. These include It Takes Two, While You Were Sleeping, Parent Trap, and most of the Disney movies. She has a huge collection of DVDs and is always willing to let people borrow them.
4) She is so good at using the computer. She is great to keep in touch with through email and we have fun instant messaging through gmailchat. She also has great grammar skills. If you read one of her emails you would think the same thing. She writes so well.
5) She has such a strong testimony and is so active in the church. She has had a lot of different callings in which she's been awesome at. She was a favorite in the nursery and cubscouts. She loves to visit teach and she goes to the temple all the time. She has been to like ten different temples. We were so glad that she was able to be there at our sealing. That was a huge blessing.
If you know Emerald, you can't help but love her. Happy Birthday, Em! Come Visit soon!
