Saturday both of us had the day off from work. David usually has every Saturday and Sunday off and I always have Sunday, but then I either have Friday, Saturday, or Monday off. We had a great day. It started out with a trip to the tennis club. David had a little Young Men's activity with two of the boys from the branch. They had a good time. After that we went straight to the beach. We found a perfect little spot where David could surf and I could lay out. It is pretty hidden, so no one else was there except a few other surfers and their girlfriends that were on the beach as well. I enjoyed my book while David enjoyed the waves. Very rarely does he get a chance to go out and surf since the waters are usually very calm. I actually had never seen him surf before, and I was very impressed with his skills! After the beach we treated ourselves by going to the island's busiest place, Kentucky Fried Chicken. Yum! We then went teaching with the missionaries and ended the night by watching movies. We started National Treasure because I had never seen it and I wanted to watch it before the second one. Unfortunately, something was wrong with the DVD and it stopped working halfway through. So, we watched Hairspray instead. What a fun day!
The rest of the week was pretty quiet. We lived our ordinary lives by going to work everyday and spending time together in the evenings. The branch started an institute class, which we are very excited about. I taught piano lessons as usual, which is always relaxing because one of the girls plays with my hair while the other one is taking lessons. I love it! Another highlight of the week was our special package from my mom. She sent us a Vonage box so we can talk to anyone in the states at anytime for as long as we want! I don't know the number off the top of my head, except that it is an 801 area code (which means that you all can call me also since it's a US line), but don't be surprised if you receive a random call from me sometime soon!

Shalynna, you make life look like a dream on that little island. I have to admit, I'm a little envious! It sounds so fun and romantic, being 2 of the few people on the beach, reading your book and watching your love surf!! AAhhh... haha. Anyway, yes, of course I remember practicing for final projects! Those were the days!! I still wonder how the heck I made it to decapo! I am by no means a good singer!
That's a great picture! It is snowing like crazy here - I wish I were on the beach with warm weather. I am so jealous you get your haired played with! I can't wait until Savanna is older and can do that for me (softly). Remember when you used to let her pull your hair? I will never ever forget that. You're such a nice aunt.
Sha Sha! Its good to hear from you!! My number is 415-847-5790. I know I shouldn't put it on a blog, but oh well! Don't worry, I am too poor to be able to buy the really cute things from LC. They have raised their prices on a lot of stuff. But it is the thrill of going you know! You must be pretty starved for good resteraunts out there if KFC is yummy to you. It sounds like you are having so much fun. I miss you! I love to hear you talk about your branch. Are you both in YM/YW? Love ya. I am expecting you to call me!
Sooo fun!! Arizona has been so cold! That beach looks so perfect right now! Except that My belly and butt keep getting bigger from being pregnant and I am scared to put on a swim suit!! Love ya!
