Earlier last week David said he wanted to be in charge of date night. I thought he was going to take me out to dinner, or something like that. But, he surprised me by continuing our theme date nights! He made me stay in the bedroom while he cooked in the kitchen. He listened to classical music while he was cooking- how cute is that? He started the meal off with an appetizer of bruschetta, which I thought tasted better than mine! Then the main dish was veal parmesan and pasta with marinara sauce. He even had some bubbly to top it all off. The movie David rented was called The Italian. It ended up being a great movie, but it was not what we expected. It was a Russian movie with English subtitles about a little Italian orphan living in a Russian orphanage. So, it wasn't an Italian movie after all but I thoroughly enjoyed it and would definitely recommend it. At some parts of the movie Italians were speaking, and a character would translate that into Russian, and then we were reading the translated English subtitles which was pretty interesting. Rent it- you will like it!Another cute thing about David is he has been teaching guitar lessons to Livio, a newly baptized member of the branch. Livio comes over about once a week and David teaches him all sorts of guitar songs. It makes me feel bad because I charge for piano lessons, but he doesn't charge a penny for guitar lessons. What a sweetheart.
One last cute thing. David played with my hair during conference today. I love that.
